Graviola as an anti – cancer

A natural product that is comparable to chemotherapy. Purdue University researcher Jerry McLaughlin, working with doctoral student Nicholas Oberlies, found Annonaceous Acetogenins which have remarkable anti-tumor activities effective against 12 types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostrate, lung and pancreatic. This component selectively hunts down cancer cells, leaving healthy cells intact. It is comparable and even more effective than Adriamycin – a commonly used chemotherapy drug. Unlike ‘adriamycin’ annonaceous acetogenins is an all-natural product that doesn’t cause extreme nausea, weight loss, and hair loss – a most common side-effect of chemotherapy.Their research identified more than 40 compounds with anti-cancer properties capable of killing cancer cells. One of the compounds ‘bullatacin’ was reported to kill multi-resistant cells on human mammary cancer cells by inhibiting the production of an ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which is energy-carrying molecules found in the cells of all living things, that is essential to all cell processes.

Graviola as ‘serotonin joy system’.

The nerve tonic, calming and mood elevating properties of Graviola have been demonstrated through several studies. The calming effect on the whole body has been linked to the ability of Graviola leaf extract to lower blood pressure. In addition, the fruit was shown to contain a serotonin uptake inhibitor. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter involved in the experience of joy. Another way to increase the “serotonin joy system” is to consume compounds that mimic serotonin, acting in the brain like serotonin. An extract from the Graviola fruit was shown to contain three compounds that act like serotonin in the brain.

Graviola as ‘cell cleanser’.

The claim to fame of Graviola is its cytotoxic properties, which means its ability to kill cells. Cytotoxic often refers to the ability to kill cells that are not functioning properly and which can put the whole body at risk. More than 34 cytotoxic compounds have been isolated from Graviola, some of them being up to 100 million times more potent than commonly used cytotoxic compounds. The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) prevents making health claims. Therefore, one cannot recommend using the cytotoxic properties of Graviola for the treatment of any disease. However, given the demonstrated properties of Graviola, and given the role of the immune System in eliminating dysfunctional cells, we can say that Graviola is a natural plant that can support the functions of the immune system in an exceptional manner.

Resveratrol is a phytoalexin, a natural plant antibiotic which is produced by vitis vinifera as a response to attack by molds. Findings from published scientific literature indicate that resveratrol may be the most effective plant extract for maintaining optimal health.Resveratrol, a constituent of red wine and possessing diverse biochemical and physiological actions, including estrogenic, anti-platelet, and anti-inflammatory properties, has long been suspected to have cardio-protective effects.

50% Age Delay with Resveratrol

Resveratrol is a polyphenolic compound found in the skins of red fruits as grapes, plums and the red skin of peanuts. It is a molecule so tiny it penetrates the wall of almost any cell in an organism. It continues into the cell nucleus to the cell’s genetic machinery.Resveratrol selectively switches on genes that aid the survival of an organism, like Sirtuin 1 DNA – repair gene.

Prevents the onslaught of diseases related to aging.

New studies show it slows the onset of virtually all the aging diseases: heart, diabetes, arthritis, cancers and Alzheimer’s. It also repairs alcohol-damaged livers, slows bone loss (osteoporosis), promotes hair growth and aids in weight regulation.
